Each class has a set of skills a character can train in during character creation. You class will always determine which skills your character can train in and how many. To train in more skills, or in skills not in the Class Skills list for his class, the player will need to use feats such as Skill Training. To make your skills better, you can use the feat Skill Focus.

The class skill list is also important for multiclassing, as a character is often able to choose an additional skill to train in from the new class's class skill list.

Each skill listed also lists the associated attribute (Strength, Dexterity, Constitution, Intelligence, Wisdom, Charisma).
